Thank you for participating in our survey and for the many questions and suggestions! We have thoroughly reviewed your feedback and want to address some of the points.

Vote result and implementation

The vote is over โ€“ 83.22% voted in favor of the proposal, and we will start implementing it immediately! One day after sending out the survey, we already gained a large consumer. Thanks to this, we can guarantee almost 100% absorption for everyone.

All new PV feeders will continue to be admitted to the energy community (EC) at 20%. This ensures our community develops in a stable way and new members are gradually integrated into the full feed-in volume.

Particularly pleasing: Last week we were able to supply the entire EGOT with PV power from approximately 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM โ€“ a really great result!

Live data as a game-changer โ€“ still in development!

A recurring topic is the optimization of electric car charging and storage management. Many of the desired functions and analyses depend on the live data that will be available in the future. Currently, this is still being developed and will take some time before it is fully usable. Once available, it will be a real game-changer.

Battery storage without PV system โ€“ is that possible?

Yes, that is possible! There are special battery boxes that can be operated without an inverter. An example are the battery storage systems from SAX Power. These high-performance batteries offer particularly high efficiency.

It is important that they are charged at times when there is usually enough electricity available โ€“ i.e. around 10 AM to 2 PM, as long as the sun cooperates. The stored electricity can then be used later.

Alternatives to PV power?

Alternatives would be wind or hydropower. Private wind power could gain importance in the coming years but is currently hardly feasible on a large scale and heavily dependent on wind availability. Hydropower for the private sector usually fails due to missing permits.

Joining an Energy Community from Salzburg?

Another energy community cannot join ours. However, it is possible to connect with up to five energy communities. Each requires a membership fee. Additionally, the energy community must be a CEC (Citizen Energy Community), which is supra-regional and not connected to our substation. Therefore, the full grid usage fee applies.

Our energy community grows!

๐ŸŽ‰ We now have 190 members!

And almost daily new ones join us. We are very pleased that our commitment is so well received.

Growing together โ€“ companies welcome!

Please stay tuned and continue to advertise for our energy community โ€“ companies are also warmly welcome! Together we can achieve even more.
